Dear Friends and Supporters,

I have often spoken about how we, here in Second Life have no borders. About how we care about people on a global, human scale more than many, because of that. Over five years, I have learned just how much it means to so many of us to put legs under that statement and make it walk. In five events, we have raised over 60K USD to help MSF/Doctors Without Borders fight disease/injury and mental illness, in areas of the world where people most desperately need it and at the same time face the greatest lack of its availability. We fight this fight, not because we know them, not because they are part of our personal friends and families, but rather, because they matter to us every bit as much as anyone else in our lives. We began this fight long before we personally faced what we are all dealing with now as Covid 19 tries to gain a foot hold in all our lives. It didn't take personally experiencing this fear to make us aware the need is there on a 24/7 lifetime basis in 70+ countries globally. We knew then, and we know now, that need is there and we continue to fight to help MSF meet it. It is in this spirit of humanness we all share in Second life that I ask you, person to person, to come join us this Fall 2020 as we do this again. I am personally finding much comfort in knowing we are made of the stuff to fight this fight and having a focus for my energy does much to alleviate my own anxiety. Won't you join us again? Or for the first time? Today, when we are all taking the extra measure to not harm ourselves or others, I am especially determined to help people who fight on the very front lines of these realities. We need you to do this. And we need to do this for MSF, the people they care for, and in so many ways, for ourselves. We anticipate the 2020 Spoonful Of Sugar Festival (OUR 6th EVENT!!) will bring over 200 of Second Life’s finest designers, entertainers and participants covering six regions. Each new event is full of lovely people, always in a lovely place and we are all so excited about this next one because we are going back to the North African Sahara once again! Once again, we want to invite each of you to come be a part of this. To participate in any way you will; to design, to create, to shop, to learn and inform others about MSF/Doctors without Borders. Join us for what is being called the "Sweetest Fund Raiser in SL", The 2020 Spoonful Of Sugar Festival to benefit MSF/Doctors Without Borders In Solidarity, Peace, Stay home, Stay safe.
